            I am Anas Ashraf, a first-year electrical engineering student in the City College of New York. I found your job offering on indeed. As a student who has done enough coursework in high school to be placed as a lower Junior in my second semester of college, I believe that I am determined and willing to work hard and go the extra mile for results that are not expected of me. I believe I am the ideal candidate because of my skills, both theoretical and empirical, in communication, team-oriented planning, report drafting, unique and insightful analysis provision and team coordination.

            Through my time in the robotics and engineering society, I have worked on multiple projects, both individual and team based. I am well versed in the hard skills such as programming and computer aided analysis through MatLab and in the soft skills of coordinating and communicating with other team members in a cohesive and concise manner with little room for ambiguity. I am also quite adept at report drafting through knowledge of LaTeX and my intuition over office productivity software, both bespoke and off the shelf software, that comes only through experience. I am quite proficient at ordering of tools, inventory management and other remedial but essential company tasks through my time spent at AF Enterprises. My considerations and analysis of topics are objective through carefully constructed logic that establishes intuitions before the experience so the perception which precedes the thought is of utmost accuracy.

            It is my skills shaped by knowledge in both the formal ways of accomplishing tasks and in the real empirical applications of theoretical knowledge that distinguishes and puts me above the rest of the candidates.
